Ubisoft Begins Removing The Crew Racing Game from Users' Libraries

Ubisoft seems to have initiated the process of removing the racing game The Crew from users' libraries. Numerous players have reported online that they are unable to access the game through Ubisoft's game launcher after the company took the servers offline last year.

Multiple users on X en and Reddit have observed that they no longer have access to The Crew, an online racing game. The game is not available for download or play at all.

The exact cause of this issue remains unclear, but it appears that Ubisoft has begun the process of discontinuing the game. The Crew 1 was initially launched in 2014, and Ubisoft announced towards the end of last year that they would be shutting down the game servers, which took effect on March 31. As The Crew was an online-only game, the impact of this decision is somewhat diminished, but players are understandably upset. Currently, Ubisoft does not seem to be offering the game through their Connect launcher, and it is uncertain whether this applies to all users or if the discontinuation will be implemented in stages.
