Triodos Bank Customers with /e/OS Smartphones Can Now Use QR Code Scanner in Banking App

Users of /e/OS smartphones from Triodos can once again utilize the QR code scanner within the banking app following a recent update. This update now enables customers to make payments using iDEAL and other features.

Previously, the QR code scanner was non-functional on devices that lacked Google Play services. However, according to reports from Triodos, users of /e/OS can now access this feature following the update on Monday, April 22.

/e/OS, an open-source operating system that serves as an alternative to Android, is readily available for smartphones from a variety of manufacturers, including select models from Fairphone, Google, Samsung, and OnePlus.
