During its own exclusive event, TP Vision, the company behind Philips monitors, unveiled a lineup of cutting-edge gaming monitors set to hit the market later this year. Among the products showcased were four OLED screens and a new mini LED monitor, as well as several more affordable entry-level models.

The gaming monitors are set to be released under the Philips Evnia series, which was first introduced in 2022. Along with the new models, the manufacturer announced that current and future Evnia screens featuring Ambiglow RGB lighting will soon be compatible with Microsoft's Dynamic Lighting initiative. This partnership with Microsoft will allow users to control RGB components and accessories directly through Windows 11, eliminating the need for additional software. Existing screens with Ambiglow will receive a firmware update to enable this functionality.

New QD OLED Screens

At the event, TP Vision revealed four new QD OLED screens, with three of them on display. These screens all come equipped with Ambiglow and boast a three-year 'burn-in warranty.' The Evnia 32M2N8900, featuring a glossy 4k QD OLED panel similar to the ASUS ROG Swift PG32UCDM, will offer a 240Hz refresh rate, USB-C connectivity with 65W power delivery, and a price tag of 1199 euros when it launches this summer. Additionally, the Evnia 27M2N8500, a 27" screen with 2560x1440 resolution and a 360Hz refresh rate, will be available for 799 euros without a USB-C port. The Evnia 49M2C8900L, a more affordable version of the 49M2C8900, will feature a 5120x1440 resolution and 144Hz refresh rate, priced at 999 euros and set to hit the market in May.

TP Vision also unveiled the Evnia 34M2C6500, a budget-friendly alternative to the 34M2C8600, boasting a 34" QD OLED panel with 3440x1440 resolution and a 175Hz refresh rate. Priced at 799 euros, this model sacrifices built-in speakers and a USB-C port with 90W power delivery for a more accessible price point. The monitor is expected to be available for purchase in June.

4k Mini LED Screen with 1152 Zones

Adding to its lineup, TP Vision announced the upcoming release of the Evnia 32M2N6800M mini LED monitor, set to launch in July for 899 euros. This 32" monitor boasts an IPS panel with 3840x2160 resolution, a 144Hz refresh rate, and a mini LED backlight with 1152 zones. With a peak brightness of 1000cd/m², the monitor promises superior HDR performance compared to conventional 4k LCD gaming monitors. Like the QD OLED screens, the mini LED monitor features three-sided Ambiglow lighting and a KVM function.

Expanding its product range, TP Vision is introducing more affordable Evnia 3000 and 5000 series screens. The new M2 generation features IPS and VA panels with refresh rates of 180Hz or 280Hz, along with a V-shaped base reminiscent of higher-end Evnia models. The 24" and 27" models now come in eco-friendly black housing without the use of Styrofoam, incorporating more recycled materials for a more sustainable design.
