Starting from April 10th, Tidal will be merging the Tidal HiFi and Tidal HiFi Plus subscriptions into a single subscription plan priced at 10.99 euros per month. This new plan will allow users to enjoy HiRes audio files in Dolby Atmos and FLAC formats. Additionally, there will be a family subscription option available.

According to a Tidal support page, the new subscription plan will provide access to over 110 million HiRes audio tracks, featuring 24-bit audio with a sample rate of 192kHz. Subscribers will also have access to FLAC and Dolby Atmos tracks. Existing subscribers will be automatically switched to the new plan on April 10th.

Tidal will also introduce a new family subscription called Tidal Family, priced at 16.99 euros per month, replacing the current Tidal HiFi Family and Tidal HiFi Family Plus plans. It is unclear if the Tidal Family plan will offer access to higher sample rate HiRes audio tracks, FLAC, and Dolby Atmos tracks.

In addition to the subscription changes, Tidal is updating its optional DJ integration feature, which will now cost 9 euros per month. Customers who have used this feature in the past ninety days will be automatically enrolled in this paid feature, but they can opt out via their account settings.

These price and subscription changes will go into effect on April 10th worldwide. As of now, Tidal HiFi is still available for 10.99 euros per month, offering 16-bit audio with a sample rate of 44.1 kHz and over 100 million songs in FLAC format. Tidal HiFi Plus is currently priced at 19.99 euros per month, providing access to 24-bit audio with a sample rate of 192kHz, as well as FLAC and Dolby Atmos tracks.
