At MWC 2024, OPPO unveiled a prototype of the Air Glass 3 and shared some key details about the product. These smart glasses are designed to be paired with an OPPO smartphone in order to access the brand's AI assistant, AndesGPT. Users can activate the assistant with a simple tap on the side of the glasses.

Weighing in at just 50 grams, the Air Glass 3 promises a comfortable wearing experience akin to regular glasses. Through touch controls, users can utilize the glasses to perform various functions such as playing music, making phone calls, and browsing through color photos.

What sets these glasses apart is their AR capabilities, allowing users to view information through the display glasses. According to OPPO, the glasses feature a 'screen brightness uniformity' of 50 percent and a maximum brightness of 1000cd/m².

While OPPO has revealed some details about the Air Glass 3, information about its release date and pricing remains scarce. In 2023, OPPO launched the Air Glass 2 as well as the original Air Glass. It's worth noting that OPPO is not the only player in the smart glasses market, as Meta and Apple are also exploring their own versions of smart glasses.
