The upcoming installment of the popular Tomb Raider franchise is rumored to be an open-world game set in India, according to a leak from V Scooper. The game is expected to offer players a vast gaming world with stunning vistas, as well as a motorcycle and parachute for easier exploration. The storyline is said to revolve around a catastrophic event that uncovers ancient ruins and artifacts, prompting heroine Lara Croft to race against time to secure them before her enemies do.

Amazon Games will be publishing the next Tomb Raider game, which is being developed by Crystal Dynamics in Unreal Engine 5. The game is described as the largest and most extensive in the franchise, featuring puzzles, a wide range of enemies, and a rich gaming experience. While the game's development is still in its early stages, a release date has not yet been announced by either Crystal Dynamics or Amazon Games.

Prior to this, Square Enix had been the publisher of the Tomb Raider series, having acquired Eidos Interactive in 2009, which owned Crystal Dynamics. However, the studios were recently sold to Embracer Group, a Swedish company, along with their intellectual properties.
