Microsoft Announces New Surface Pro 10 For Business and Surface Laptop 6 For Business with Enhanced Repairability and Features

Reports indicate that Microsoft is set to launch two new Surface devices catered specifically for the business market. The Surface Pro 10 For Business and Surface Laptop 6 For Business are anticipated to hit the market ahead of their consumer counterparts.

According to Microsoft's announcement, both devices have been designed for easier repair and maintenance. They come equipped with labeled screws and QR codes on components to simplify replacements and repairs, including those for the screen, battery, motherboard, SSD, cameras, modules, and sensors as highlighted by The Verge.

The new Surface devices boast Intel Core Ultra processors with an added AI co-processor and 5G capabilities. The screens feature anti-reflective coatings to reduce glare and maintain visibility. Additionally, both devices sport LCD displays with enhanced features similar to their predecessors.

Other notable features include NFC support for security keys, high-resolution front cameras with a wider field of view, and various model variations such as Core Ultra 135U and 165U for the Surface Pro and 135H and 165H for the Laptop 6. Memory options range from 8GB to 64GB lppdr5x, with storage options of 256GB, 512GB, or 1TB SSDs. Pricing in euros is yet to be announced, but the consumer versions are expected to debut in May, featuring a Surface Pro model with an OLED screen.
