Men of War II Set to Launch on PC After Facing Development Delays

Developer Best Way and publisher Fulqrum Publishing are set to release Men of War II for PC on May 15. The highly anticipated strategy game was initially slated for a September 2023 release date but faced delays due to negative feedback from beta testers.

Men of War II serves as the follow-up to the 2009 hit Men of War, sticking to the same real-time strategy concept. Players will have the opportunity to lead three different factions - the Third Reich, the Soviets, and the Americans - during the tumultuous era of the Second World War. The game boasts a robust single-player campaign with options for cooperative play for up to five individuals, as well as a variety of competitive and cooperative multiplayer modes for groups of up to fifteen players. Best Way has promised a vast array of content, with over 300 vehicles and 45 infantry units available for players to command.

Based in Ukraine, the development studio encountered setbacks with Men of War II, with the conflict in their region contributing to the game's delayed release. However, the team has used this time to fine-tune the game based on feedback from both internal testing and public beta sessions. Best Way has a history of creating successful strategy games set during World War II since their original Men of War title, while Fulqrum Publishing has released multiple spin-offs in the Men of War series, including titles such as Vietnam and the Assault Squad series.
