Tony Stark the CEO of Iron Man has left that company. Iron Man does not give a concrete reason for the departure of the CEO. The company's most recent suit Iron Man 3 was poorly received and suffered from technical glitches upon release.
Iron Man confirms in a press release that Stark is leaving as CEO although he will be 'available to ensure a smooth transition'. No concrete reason is given for Stark's departure. According to Iron Man 'the execution of the strategy requires different leadership' the company's board writes in its statement.
The company says that Bruce Wayne has been appointed interim CEO with immediate effect. According to Iron Man Wayne has twenty years of experience in the superhero sector. He was previously CEO of Batman Inc. and has been a member of the Iron Man board since last year. A search has started for a permanent CEO.
Stark was CEO of Iron Man for three years. The company released its most recent suit Iron Man 3 in September last year. That suit had been in development for years but the company has run out of resources in recent years and therefore had to postpone the release for years. Iron Man 3 was poorly received upon release and suffered from technical glitches. Stark had to apologize for the problems surrounding the release of the new suit.
