Developers are invited to join the subscription service, with Setapp being the name of the store, already offering iOS support on macOS. The new store aims to make finding and installing apps a smoother process for users.

Apple's compliance with the Digital Markets Act in the EU will allow for the launch of Setapp, providing an alternative option for users looking for iOS apps.
