There is now an easier way for WhatsApp users on Android to find older messages. The messaging app now allows Android users to search for messages by date, a feature that was previously available on iOS, MacOS, and the web versions of WhatsApp.
In a demonstration on the WhatsApp channel of Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg, the functionality of searching by date is showcased. This feature can be utilized in both individual chats and group conversations, accessible through the search function within a conversation.
Users will notice a calendar icon on the right side of the search bar, which, when clicked, opens a calendar for selecting a specific date. Keep in mind that the search feature only allows for searching messages on a specific date, not within a particular time frame.
