Delta's Coaxial Cable Internet and Telephony Packages to See Small Price Increase Starting July 1

Delta has recently announced a price increase for their internet and telephony packages that are delivered via coaxial cable. The price increase will result in a small additional cost per month for customers, with the maximum increase being only a few euros. The provider has stated that the costs have gone up, and they are attributing this price hike to factors such as inflation. These new prices are set to go into effect starting July 1.

In a blog post on their website, Delta explains that various expenses such as purchase costs, organizational costs, and network maintenance and improvements have all contributed to the need for the price adjustment. The increase is also being seen as a way to adjust for inflation. While most cable subscriptions will see a rise in price, the 1000Mbit/s subscription will remain unchanged. However, subscriptions for fiber optic and mobile telephony services will not be affected. Customers who experience a price increase greater than 3 percent of the inflation calculation by Statistics Netherlands may have the option to cancel their subscription.

Customers enrolled in the Delta Flex Package Basic will see an increase in their download and upload speeds, from 150 to 250Mbit/s and from 15 to 25Mbit/s, respectively. As of July 1, this subscription will be renamed as the Flex Package Basic 250 Mbps. Similarly, the Extra Speed 250 Mbps package will be renamed as the Extra Speed 300 Mbps, with download and upload speed increases from 250 to 300Mbit/s and from 15 to 25Mbit/s respectively.
