CD Projekt RED's Cyberpunk 2077 and Phantom Liberty Expansion Generate 3 Billion Zlotys in Revenue, Surpassing Previous Year's Sales

Polish developer CD Projekt RED has seen success with Cyberpunk 2077 and its Phantom Liberty expansion, earning a total of 3 billion zlotys, equivalent to 698 million euros, as reported in the company's latest annual figures.

The revenue comes from sales of the game on previous console generations such as PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC, as well as sales of the Phantom Liberty DLC. In 2023, Cyberpunk 2077 alone brought in 826 million zlotys, surpassing its sales from the previous year. By the end of November 2023, Phantom Liberty had sold 4.3 million copies. The game also received a free 2.0 patch in the same year, introducing a new skill tree and additional items.

CD Projekt RED is pleased with its financial performance, with consolidated sales revenues reaching 1.2 billion zloty, or over 279 million euros, and a net profit of 481 million zloty, or nearly 112 million euros. These figures represent a 29% increase in sales and a 39% increase in profit compared to 2022.
