Capcom to Roll Out Dragon's Dogma 2 Patch with Gameplay Adjustments, but PC Performance Issues Persist

Capcom is set to release a patch for its popular RPG, Dragon's Dogma 2, this month. The focus of the update will be on making adjustments to various elements of the gameplay. However, PC players will be disappointed to learn that there is still no fix for the performance issues that have been plaguing the game.

A recent post on the social media platform "external" provides a sneak peek at some of the changes that are included in the upcoming patch. One of the key updates is the reduction of the dragonsplague infestation on Pawns, the non-playable characters that players can recruit to join their party. Infected Pawns will now have their eyes glowing more prominently, making it easier for players to identify the issue. Additionally, the behavior of Pawns has been tweaked in certain areas, allowing them to navigate obstacles more effectively and reducing the amount of repetitive dialogue.

Despite numerous requests from the community, the patch does not address the performance problems that have been affecting the PC version of the game since its release on March 21. Fans are eager for Capcom to provide a solution, but as of now, there is no indication of when this might happen. In the meantime, gaming website Tweakers has published a review of Dragon's Dogma 2.
