Burgernet transitions away from email service starting March 11

March 11 will mark the end of Burgernet's email service. This service was used to send newsletters, prevention messages from municipalities, and digital neighborhood surveys to users.

Users were notified of this change via email by Burgernet. The organization mentioned its goal of working 'completely anonymously' and utilizing the app more extensively. As of March 11, prevention messages newsletters and digital neighborhood surveys will no longer be sent via email; instead, they will be accessible through the app.

Burgernet assured users that their email data and any personal information will be deleted. In September, the police ceased sending notifications via email, and now Burgernet will only communicate through the app, SMS, or voice messages.
