AMD introduces two new AM5 CPUs, the Ryzen 7 8700F and Ryzen 5 8400F. These models are unique as they do not come with an integrated GPU, although specific specifications have not been released yet. Currently, these CPUs are set to be launched only in the Chinese market.

A screenshot of the new CPUs was shared by user HXL on Twitter, providing a glimpse of what to expect. During an event in China, AMD made the announcement, indicating that these products will be exclusive to the Chinese market. While details about the SoCs are limited, the naming convention gives some insight. The 'F' in both Ryzen 7 8700F and Ryzen 5 8400F signifies the absence of an integrated GPU.

It is possible that the 8700F may be similar to the 8700G released earlier this year, featuring eight cores, sixteen threads, 16MB of L3 cache, and a 65W TDP. The standout feature of the 8700G was its fast IGPU, hinting that the new 8700F could be a variant without an integrated GPU. On the other hand, the 8400F's specifications remain a mystery. It could fall between the 8300G and 8500G models, but definitive information will only be known once AMD officially unveils more details about these chips.
