AMD has officially listed the Ryzen 5 8400F and the Ryzen 7 8700F on its website. These models do not have an IGPU and previously appeared for apparently only the Chinese market. Now the CPUs seem to be available worldwide but only for OEMs. AMD has both the Ryzen 5 8400F as the Ryzen 7 8700F on its website including details on specifications. It is the first time that the company officially shows these models.

Last month the CPUs already appeared during a presentation from the company but no details were known at the time. It also seemed at the time that the models might only be released on the Chinese market but now that does not seem to be the case. The 8400F and 8700F will be available worldwide but not for individual sale. They are only available to OEMs writes Videocardz so availability depends on manufacturers.

Both CPUs have an AM5 design and are based on AMD's Zen 4 architecture. The models do not have an integrated GPU. The Ryzen 5 8400F has six cores and twelve threads with a maximum boost clock speed of 4.7GHz and a base clock speed of 4.2GHz. The Ryzen 7 8700F is slightly faster with a maximum speed of 5GHz but the base clock speed is 4.1GHz. Both models have 16MB of L3 cache but the 8400F has 6MB of L2 cache and the 8700F has 8MB. Both models also have a maximum TDP of 65W. The 8700F itself has eight cores and sixteen threads. The prices and final availability are not yet known.
